For most people, Zator is primarily associated with Energylandia - the largest amusement park in Poland. It's no wonder that it attracts thousands of tourists here every year. But what to do when it rains, it's cold, or the park is closed off-season? Don't worry - Zator and its surroundings offer much more than just roller coasters.

When the weather is not suitable for walking, it's worth looking for attractions that allow you to have fun indoors or in places where rain does not bother you. A great choice would be, for example, paintball or laser tag – dynamic team games that can be found around Zator. It's an excellent way to release energy and spend an active day, even if the sky is overcast with clouds.

If you are looking for something more relaxing, the Carp Valley offers many charming places to rest. Nearby restaurants serve the famous Zator carp, prepared in various ways - from the classic fried version to more refined versions with herbs and wine. It's a perfect way to warm up with an aromatic meal in a cozy, regional atmosphere.

At a slower pace, you can also visit local historical sites. It's worth visiting the castle in Oświęcim, which offers a beautiful view of the Soła River, or going to the Lipowiec Castle in Babice, whose ruins enchant with a medieval atmosphere. For history lovers, an interesting option is also the Museum of the Lesser Poland Tradition Trail – a perfect place for a quiet afternoon with culture and crafts.

If you dream of relaxation, in our center you will find a spa zone, where you can rest after a day full of experiences. It's a great option to forget about bad weather and just relax.

For those who cannot sit still, there is no shortage of indoor entertainment in the area. In Oświęcim, there is Planet Cinema, where you can watch the latest movies, and in Andrychów you will find an escape room, which will provide excitement and fun with friends. Bowling or billiards in nearby clubs is also a way to spend an enjoyable evening.

Zator is also an excellent base for short trips. Wadowice, the hometown of John Paul II, offers beautiful monuments and famous cream cakes, Kraków attracts with the magic of the Old Town, and Oświęcim – with rich history and a peaceful small-town atmosphere by the river.

As you can see, Zator is not just Energylandia. It's a place that can surprise you even when the weather turns bad. You can rest here, eat well, try your hand at paintball, relax in the spa, or simply spend a nice day in good company. Because the Carp Valley has its charm in every season – even when all you can hear outside is rain.
